Well Hung Vineyard - Restaurant: A Hidden Gem in Gordonsville

Gorgeous little spot outside we sat and ate/drank. Our server was excellent with her recommendations. I got the sweetness flight and crab cake sandwich. Such a nice spot to spend the afternoon

I was in the area by myself with a little time to kill and decided to stop in. They were able to seat me without a reservation, which I appreciated! The place is small — but in a charming way — with seating both inside and outside under a covered area. I was lucky to get a seat, as this is clearly a popular spot on a fine Saturday afternoon. I would highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time; in fact, for parties larger than two, I believe it’s required. They offer a lovely selection of wines, and the atmosphere is both authentically pleasing and relaxed. The staff was very friendly, and I especially appreciated the team dynamic — everyone worked together to serve, so you weren’t left waiting for just one server to make their rounds. The bathrooms were clean, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming. I ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese — absolutely delicious! I look forward to returning again soon!

We had an unexpected stop at Well Hung vineyards and let me tell you IT WAS AMAZING!!!! From the atmosphere, the food, the wine selection, the fun name, & the customer service is what an establishment should be about. They get it! Ashley was attentive and on top of her game. But the highlight was Ross who was the most accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun general manager whom we have ever met! He took the time to explain every wine, answer all our questions, and talked to us about the wine club. He gave excellent recommendations! So grateful that we stopped by Well Hunt Vineyards!!

I went there with my family. My daughter took the flatbread, and I tasted it. It was delicious. The meal i took was delicious as well. The staff was very courteous. The rain fell before we went there and we were seated outside. Unfortunately the ground was a bit messy. The wine my husband and I had tasted amazing, its called Wishful thinking. It was a sweet white wine.

What a lovely little stop in darling little Gordonsville! We came in for a late lunch during an afternoon of antique shopping, and we couldn't have been happier with the service and the food. Our server, Cori, took awesome care of us. We had the Afternoon Delight wine flight, which was excellent, and a glass of the lovely dry rose. I recommend the club sandwich and the portobello fries. We'll definitely be back.

My family and I came here for my 29th birthday and it was fantastic! Our server Alexa really helped make the evening special. I had the spinach ravioli and the sage sauce was absolutely to die for. We split the charcuterie board at the table and that was also delicious. You have to try their candied bacon, it's the best!! The wine flights are such a fun way to try their wines and they have something for everyone! I found a surprise favorite in the Creamy Delight. Definitely come celebrate a special occasion here!

Made an unexpected stop at well hung vineyards! Walking in the atmosphere is fun and casual and who doesn’t love the name!Well hung. HA We were fortunate to be sat in Cori’s section. She is an amazing, helpful and welcoming. WHV is lucky to have such an awesome team member!! Thanks for the tasty nuts!!

Another amazing experience at this restaurant! Food was delicious and wine was great !!! Cori was a very attentive and professional person and a pleasure to hear her talking about wines to the point we joined the wine Club ! Manager and the other service staff were amazing too. Our food delicious in flavor and great presentation! We do this trip to Gordonsville twice a year and since we found The WellHung this is our place to go for dinner and it never disappoints! Thank you and we will see you again in July
